Description

A massive lake that was formed by a chunk of Luna from The Shattering. The impact nearly destroyed the original town which Moonfall City has grown up from, but it also gave it an opportunity like no other. Back then it was more of a quarry than a lake, but eventually a combination of the belief that all worthwhile Dust had been mined and the need to find other ways to ship the Moonshine that was being produced resulted in letting it become a semi-natural lake with some man-made and natural rivers running through it.

These days the lake is only really used for transport of goods and fishing, though enough rumors of some good Dust in its depths give the desperate a reason to keep looking.

Many businesses operate in the lake out of the Docks District, including Silver Reflections Diving Company.

Denizens

Fishers, Dust runners, and merchant vessels use the waters for all kinds of business and transportation.

History

First it was just a patch of land near the old town. Then The Shattering made it a massive crater, which slowly become a mine, and finally, once every mote of Dust had been pulled out, it was allowed to naturally fill with water and become the lake it is today.
