- While trying to analyze and disable Townsend's powers, Velvet realized they were very similar to what Dr. Moran predicted Ward's would be. They were also fueled by his life force, which implied that either he was successfully imbued by Project Syzygy or some other nefarious thing was a foot. - 19 - Chaos and Questions
Details
A male Simiah who resembles an orangutan. He was good at reading people when he first signed up for the military and only got better when he landed as a field agent with Usonian intelligence. He was wounded during the war like many, and like most of the Project Eclipse volunteers he joined up with the project because of that injury.
He was next in line for the procedure after Velvet. He might have been more stable than her in terms of life force usage, but by that time Dr. Moran had also gained a knack for predicting how people's powers would manifest and anticipated his would relate to mind reading and possibly even mental projection/psychic powers.
He was never able to undergo the procedure though, as the Project was shuttered just prior to it. Because he wasn't a full member of the program he was cut loose and not monitored.
