Appearance
He’s a lanky, but well built Human man who wears practical clothing pieced together of haphazard qualities and styles he’s patched together from what he can find and afford. His eyes are as dark as night and his skin has a sandy hue. He has the bearing of a protector who will always stand up for the weak.
Personality
Most of the community from the school and neighborhood around it look a bit down on him with pity and dislike since his parents became Lunatics and that led to him having to leave school.
He and Pete have bonded over a concern around running out of money. They have different reasons for this fear, but it’s a common point for them they can see eye to eye on.
Despite that link, he still hasn’t forgiven Pete for a comment about how “his parents went crazy” because of his meddling nature after he interrupted a deal Pete was making for some Moon Dust.
He wants to play music, despite a mediocre bordering on poor talent.

History
During his formative years he spent a significant amount of time with his gym teacher, Kevin Stringfellow taught him a lot about how to fight and defend oneself, opening the door to his study of martial arts.
Teachers and cooks from his old school and related areas of the community always have his back because he’s always stood up to bullies and helped keep them in line.
Back in school at Butler High he fought the son of a policeman, Joe Reed, who was a bully. The fight was broken up by the policeman and Paul desperately wants to finish the fight on principle.
He is a Moonfall City native, and stays here because family is everything, and most of them are still here, including Cindy who still needs his help.
Had parents, Mary and Dick Teuse, who became addicted to Moon Dust and eventually became Lunatics. They died a few years ago in some situation that Paul doesn’t really know the details about. He never got any answers from the police. And he was left to care for his siblings.
To make ends meet after his parents left he started work as the bouncer for the Celestial Sips.
He lives with his last remaining sibling, Cindy, who is 15 and still needs some looking after. The others have since managed to get out on their own. Marcia (23) and Jan (18) still live in Locations/Moonfall City. Peter (21) does not.
